As soon as I said no headlights and all that I replaced it was basically well you would have to bring that to a dealership. Without even attempting to look at it.

So I re read your last steps to do. I have my meter set at 20DCV I checked both fuses sockets. The 20V under the hood both sockets read 12.71DCV the one in the dash one read 12.71DCV and 0.00 on the other.

Replaced the fuse in the dash both points read 12.72DCV and that is still with the switch removed.. I hope I did it right this time

Check the orange wires and read 0.00DCV on each with fuse 10A installed

I don't understand that last part. Is that a third fuse?

3rd fuse? No I only took out the 2 you said too. And yes what you quoted is correct

I am referring to what you said in #42

Lets work with a simple circuit diagram.

So, with the 2 fuses shown removed and all wires disconnected from the HL SW, you show 12.7VDC on #1 and on 3# and 0VDC on #2 and #4, is that correct?

If so then put both fuses back in leave the HL SW removed and measure the DCV at #6 and #5. Then remove the fuse between #1/2 and repeat these two voltage measurements.

I should have shown the HL SW disconnected from all wires, you are measuring open orange wires..

How do I disconnect to show open wires? Is that the blue clip i can detach to show the wires?

Pull out the 9 pin connector for the 9 wire harness from the back of the HL SW and probe each orange wire either into the connector socket or back probe the wire from the other side of the socket

Ok the larger orange wire on HDSW shows 0.00 DCV to both #1 and #2 Same with the smaller orange wire. Did a light tester to make sure i was getting any kind of power and on the large orange wire it lit up and the smaller did not light up. Retested again same wires with the meter and still read 0.00DCV.

So is it from the IPFB to the switch i am having the problem?

Every time you perform a voltage measurement you put the red positive probe on the point that I am asking you to measure and the black negative probe goes on battery ground. Same for any test light measurements. #1/2/3/4 are all fuse socket points. I am asking you to measure the ends of the two unconnected orange wires at #5 and #6, twice. HL SW disconnected. Fuses inserted to start then fuses removed
