Default No interior ligting

I have a 2000 blazer and when I open the doors the inside lights do not come on. I can override them to confirm the bulbs are working...and when I press the remote unlock they come on?? Also, the radio goes off when I turn the key off (it usually stays on for a short time)
Any ideas on this?

Default bad door switch

Look to the door position switch.

i believe that it may be one of the buttons that are located on the doors when you close the door the button opens the circuit turning the lights off and when you open the door the circuit closes turning the lights on one of those buttons may not be working anymore and when this happens the lights go on and off but not anymore by these door buttons because the lights go off after a certain amount of time when you have the doors open you could try checking those switches use the remote and make the lights go on and try opening or closing the doors they should go off the moment you close the door and it they don't it may be because the switch on #? door is not working you could try that... hope this helps...
