no power

i got power to starter from battery but no power to s terminal on on starter this wire rums together with other wires wrapped up as one to kept from undoing the wrapping can anyone tell me where this wire comes from to help isolate problem thanks.

fusable link would be my guess
GM has used them at the starter for years and they sometimes will burn for no reason

or was there a ground strap that you left off when changing the tranny ?

If it worked before tranny change. Check and double all grounds. That would be guess before fuseable link. Fuseable link would be second

a quick ground check , booster cable jump from battery negative to engine block and engine block to body

truck ran fine for two weeks everything on trans seems to be hooked up fine by fuseable link you mean the fuse under the battery?
