Lightbulb A Power Door Lock Switch replacement for 91-94 Blazers and possibly others

Hi, First time posting here. I recently had the fun of looking for a power door lock switch for my 94 olds Bravada. I found this forum while scouring the internet for a work around to fixing my switch because these switches are not being made any longer as some of you may already know.

I came across a post from one of the members here "HigherPower". His post described fixing the problem with an aftermarket part from Duralast SW3814. His post can be found here https://blazerforum.com/forum/1st-ge...h-58593/page2/

However, the part that "HigherPower" used was a good fit for the GM base
(5-pin plug) part of the switch but not the toggle part of the switch.

After reading his great post I went to a local parts store and found a replacement for my part (thanks to a helpful parts guy) which had the correct 5-pin plug and a slim toggle that fit perfectly in the door handle housing. It turns out, it was a Window Switch. The part was a Duralast SW2390. The only modification I made was to trim one of the pins that was longer than the other four and since the pins are solid copper it was easy to cut and file the end.

After putting everything back together I now have a perfectly working Drivers side power door lock switch. Thanks to HigherPower and all here that help us find solutions.
