Quad beam with DRL & AHL disabled
the ddm 55 watts. I only figured this out when I did the quad beam mod and my highs and lows were on when the DLR's were on. I figured having the HIDs on at low power wasn't a good thing. I didn't want to disable my DRL's so I just put a peice of tape over the light sensor so the lows are on all the time
I just ran the 35s, as it is i had people flashing high beams because they're so bright. Now the 35 kit i have now from another company look more like 55 watts, the people around me really do it. i can see my lights on the road when its 6 o'clock now. These things are crazy bright and life time warranty
couldn't you run a relay from the DRL diode plug (diode removed) to the low beam ballast. When the DRL circuit is energized it would send power to the ballast instead of the high beam (series) circuit but should leave the high beam (parallel) intact to power the other ballast. Also couldn't you run a second relay from the high beam circuit (with a manual switch in the cab) to the low beam ballast for some extra "off road" lighting
