ok i have an issue. 2000 blazer that has the rear gate that the glass opens upward as does the gate... the rear glass all of a sudden stopped locking. the dash button works to release it as does the button on the exterior of the hatch. but the glass itself does not lock... i have searched and came up empty. any suggestions

 

I have a similar issue in my 1993 GMC Jimmy. The latch inside the gate has to much play and twists sideways slightly. Over time the latch gets worse. I usually have to insert the key and unlock the latch to straighten it up. If your actuator is still working try pressing it then locking your window. I have to do this every time I park.
