Default Running wires for Roof Lights

Hey all, OSS here;

I think I might pick up 4 cheap napa 4x6 off road lights tomorrow perhaps...I'm gonna mount them on my cross member for my roof rack, but where can I run the wires down? I've seen people run them in behind the weatherstripping in the doors, but once I get down there, where do you run the wires in the truck for switches? Thanks!

i ran mine across the crossmember then down into the door jamb then through the headliner into my overhead console and then you will have to find a hotwire to run to the switch i spliced into the overhead lights but i need to change that cuz i feel like its gonna melt the wire
