I profiled the shut down sequence a while back so I’ll look for that when I get home later tonight

No need, within 2 1/2 mins it was down to .071A, now at 3 mins flat it is at .008A of draw.
No clue why it was dying earlier now. This seems perfectly fine to me

Maybe this is a lucky instance of a problem fixing itself? No clue anymore, haha

Here it is:

i’ve never had to do a parasitic draw test on my blazer so I grabbed a meter to see how our trucks behave. The old trick of maintaining contact as you disconnect a positive cable from the battery is probably not necessary with a modern meter because I broke the connection and then inserted the amp meter and drew about 2 A momentarily. Most modern meters are fused for 10 A so that shouldn’t be a problem. In less than a minute it had dropped through two stages first to about 800 mA and then to 65 mA. Three minutes later when everything went completely asleep the current draws 5 mA. Conventional wisdom says your stand by current doesn’t need to be that low but let’s see what you get and we’ll go from there.
