I bought a 2001 chevy blazer midsize 4 x 4 and the previous owner took apart the under the driver side dash. I was able to find a home for all the plugs except one. Can you tell me what this plug is for and where it goes- Photo 1? The second picture is of a spot that has nothing plugged into it is that normal?

does yours have the cassette in the console i think it plugs in to that

 

It may have been the stereo was completely taken, just a hole is left,so I don't know what was there originally. This cord is behind and two the right of the emergency brake. It is an offshoot of the main series of wires.
