window wipers

Default window wipers

When i clean my windows with the window wash the wipers just keeps going and going and going it wont stop unless i turn my car off. what could be wrong with that

There are a few posts about this in here & most of them conclude to the wiper control board going south. Search around & you'll find them.

Actually there was a recall about this. GM concluded it to cracked solder joints on the board for the wipers.

Link I know it says it'll make your wipers go intermittently or not at all, but I would assume it could also cause your wipers to go and go and go... I'm actually currently having the same problem.

Really? wow.... I know mine (when they feel like it) won't always stop at bottom (when I shut them off) when I have them set to run at slow or fast. But set to intermittent wipers & they cycle & stop where they should stop. So the easy fix I found was to set them to intemittent & shut them off when they're at the bottom of the cycle.

yep i had the same issue with my and it was the the wiper pulse module, 1992-1997 Chevrolet Blazer Wiper Pulse Module – Replacement C361701 - Wiper Pulse Module - Replacement
