I have a 2001 5spd with pretty well almost no luxury electronics. I managed to get ahold of a hatch release panel for the tailgate. I plan on leaving the keyed entry on the outside of the tailgate but my goal is to wire a release button inside the cab. My question is what wires do I need to connect to for it the work? there is a plug for the hatch release/rear wiper that has power coming to it? im just unsure of which wire to connect to. The hatch release has two wires going to it (I imagine power and ground). i have those ran as far as the dash. Any help? thanx!
