Bit the bullet and bought 2 new Caddy Escalades...
... For my twins LOL
His and Hers, $440 ea.
Check em out. They will be 2 in March, and Daddys getting a new condo in April that has a walking path around a small lake and tons of grass for them to learn to drive on. Its got a 2 car attached garage - Blazer in one side, Caddies in the other. So they can have em for their birthday. I can always toss em in the pickup and go run them around the other paths in town too, they can tow daddy on his skateboard

Oh you can bet they will be getting LEDs. I don't know about the lift since my kids are small for their age (preemies)... But upgrading the electric motor at the hobby shop as they get older is a for sure bet.
I was thinking about a radio controlled kill switch too since its kinda hard to chase 2 in 2 diff directions, I would like to be able to stop them if need be since I like beside a lake...

I bet you could get those things to haul a** with a couple of HO batteries and a decent sized motor. Lack of suspension would become an issue though.
