#1
OK guys so here is the confession thread where we admit how addicted we are to our Blazers and trucks all in the AA fashion so ill start
HI blazer community my names Alex or Mrthelaxer, ive owned my blazer for about 9 months now and havent stopped loving it since, i spent about 4100 buying it all things considered and so far via front end, tires, stereo, suspension, brakes, oil changes, and other accessorizes ive probably spent atleast a total of 150 hours working on my truck to so extent and about 800 dollars pretires and about 1600 with tires. i love my truck more than most people love their animals, and it will be a cold day in hell when i get out of my truck and dont look at it admiringly before i walk away, my name for it is BST pronounced beast, for Blood Sweat and Tears
before

and after

I got mine not running for 300 bucks. I fixed it and drove it for about 4 months. I then moved provinces and it needed tires. The plan was to park it and find some tires and fix a few things. Ive got about 5000 bucks into it now and still havent driven it. Click my link to check it out.

Hi my name is Jeremiah, and my blazer is a money pit...
Bought it for $600.

Old tires on it, were crap...

Spent $700 on all new tires :

$300 on new front end pieces (ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm, idler arm, hub/wheel bearings, brakes)
$200 on a new windshield
Had her lookin' good!

THEN...
This happened :

o
Now she sits with no grille, no bumper, a crunched up hood, and fender. I slightly bent the tongue of the frame where the very front body mount is, so I don't think she'll ever line up perfectly again. I'm building a custom bumper, buying a new hood and fender, and probably making a custom grille along with the bumper.
Plans other than fixing the damages from the wreck :
Pull ABS unit (I believe this to be the cause of the wreck)
Pull carpet from interior and coat it with bed liner
Lift it more (Shackles + T-Bar)
Find a G80
Add roof rack and more lighting
Bought it for $600.

My name is Trevor and this is my blazer, Lilah, I spent 2500 bucks on her and since then have justified spending close to 2k in parts and accessories. I love my blazer like a fat guy loves cake
So far I have done...
31" Toyo Open Country MTs
15" American Racing Outlaw wheels
Custom roof basket (still in progress)
new heater core (had to take it in cause I monkey'd up an electrical connection, $300 later)
new radiator and thermostat (blew on a road trip to Idaho)
Future mods I plan on
Body lift
custom fab bumpers
custom tire swing gate conversion to utility rack
custom cold air intake/snorkel
4x4 manual switch
