Question Broken TCC plug - '87 R10

Okay here goes I sold the blazer a few months ago but have gotten lots of useful info from this site before so i hope someone can help me. I have an 87 r10 305 tbi with 700r4 and dropped the tyranny to swap out a flywheel and the idiot that help me didn't unplug the tcc pulled and broke it. I got a new plug put it on plug it up and I have no lockup. I amgetting hot and ground on the connector and ran continuity test on the ECM wire. Then rigged a light to the ECM to solenoid wire to see if ECM was sending power but it doesn't seem to be. I've tried everything i can think of but no luck. Worried im going to mess it up and would love to trade my horrible mpg to have my bad mpg back Haha. Any help is appreciated
