Ok who else here feels like a total idiot every time they have to calibrate their compass?

i dont see why you would...just drive around the block and call it a day.

Lol yeah i did it once and got weird looks from the neighbors.. but i think i drove to fast because it is still off 90° counter clockwise. Guess i have to go look like an idiot again

i just thought of this. you can change the calibration for where you live too. you have to look it up in the owners manual and it has a little map of North America. you just find yourself on the map and i think that you have to hold both the buttons and then you can choose which number you need. but i dont know if this is true if you have the trip computer. i would have to look it up myself because that is one thing that i never checked when i bought mine.

Yeah you are correct, there are different zones. But the hard part is driving in 3 circles a 5 mph or however many it is.

Yes sometimes driving around the block works or just the combination of turns throughout the day resets it, but I have had it a few times where it has taken at least 2 complete turns in a parking lot to get it.

Ive tried this but its too fast to recalibrate

And this sometimes works!

But everytime I have to do this in a parking lot I feel like a complete idiot
