Crazy Storms Last Night
Hey, I was on the edge of Charlotte last night and there was some fierce storm action going on. About an hour away a tornado touched down and by the way the clouds looked over me near Charlotte, I thought it was headed this way. It went from light to dark in a matter of minutes. And by dark, pitch black dark from the storm clouds. It was crazy. Anybody else have similar weather last night?

Good fishing weather eh? lol. I was on a boat myself right before the black clouds rolled in. We had to anchor up and put the cover on because we would have never made it back to the dock.

WHOA WAIT WHAT? I'm about an hour away from Charlotte... I remember it raining after we got home from a Pool outing. But I don't think it was too bad. But I stay inside most of the time unless its potty time for the pups...

Up here on Long Island NY where I live we got over 10 inches of rain late Saturday night into Sunday. My finished basement was partially flooded and we have been sucking water out the carpet since Sunday afternoon. So far over 40 gallons has been vacuumed and de-humidifed and the carpet is still damp.

Well, we're in the middle of a polar blast (from the South Pole, for those of you who don't know where New Zealand is - remember? that 'lil double blip at the bottom of the South Pacific? ) Icy winds & for the first time in 50 years, yes fifty years, it snowed in Auckland - the City of Sails - of course it melted as it hit the ground.
Today is freezing at 3.9 deg in Auckland (North Island) & -1 deg in Christchuch (South Island).
Half the country's roads are shut as a result But wait . . . it'll all be over by next week and we'll be back to just plain cold.
