I have a Edelbrock 8881 water pump that was leaking past the leak hole. To replace the pump with a new one is around $342.00. I emailed Edelbrock and they do not offer any rebuild service or parts. I found Commercial Water pump in Houston, Tx. I called them and they said they can rebuild the pump for about $70 excluding shipping. I mailed my pump to them on Sat. and they received my pump on Mon and had it rebuilt on Tues to mail back to me. Besides the case and impeller the pump is new. They also include the mounting gaskets. I never thought about rebuilding a water pump before as the prices weren't that bad to just buy a new one. I had no idea they are north of $300 now! Thanks for the info on the place that does them for a decent price.

 

Standard water pump from Autoparts store is not expensive. However, a pump made by Edelbrock is.
