We're now paying $2.19 a litre. That'll be about $1.73 to you guys at current exchange rates.

Speaking of rising prices...

We have more oil in the U.S. and Canada than they do in the middle east, but nobody is allowed to touch it.

What really bugs me is everybody wants to push alternative energies and reducing dependence on foreign oil, yet nobody has an idea how to get there.

Hello! produce our own Oil, and sell the surplus afterwards.
We need smarter, uncorrupted politicians. Like that'll ever happen...

3 days ago regular unleaded was 3.95, and diesel was 4.09
today we have a break and its at 3.65 and diesel is 4.04

Haha if it were only that easy. That price is per liter so it would be $6.54/gal for us.

Tidewater, Va. prices are in the $3.77/regular range. The Blazer has what?, a 19 gallon tank? It goes quick. I try to drive as little as possible. I also, top off the tank every time I use a quarter tank. I know nothing changes arithmetic wise when it comes to burning gas, but the pill seems a little easier to digest when you're doing it in $20-25 increments.
