Gotta feel for the Vermonters. Found the down-side of living in those picturesque mountains.
Like they say.. it aint so much the wind as the water.

 

Didn't have power after Katrina for 2 weeks. I was surprised we got it back that soon from the amount of damage. Glad to see everyone on the board seems to have made it through okay!

 

All we got here was an afternoon of windy rain.

 

It looks like we will be out of our house for a long time. They have electrical, plumbing and, housing engineers coming to check the damage. We have water damage on all the floors, 4 punctures through the roof, at least 5 broken rafters, atwisted and a cracked lead bend for plumbing. Thats what we know of right now. As soon as I can get some real internet access I will get some pics. up.

 

My god you got hit hard. Man that's going to be rough. Hope everything goes well.

 

Thanks, we are trying to make the best of a crappy situation but we all cant stay in my sisters 1 bedroom house with 1 bathroom. To make matters worse the insurance company is not being much help so far either.

 

sucks i hope you and your family will get the help you deserve right now i got the army going up and down my road all night long I think there trying there best
