Default Husky 1/2" impact wrench for taking off lug nuts

So I snagged a job at Midas as a general service technician where I am going to be doing oil changes, tire rotation, and basic stuff like that. I was instructed to buy a 1/2" impact wrench for taking off lug nuts. I bought a Husky from Home Depot that puts out 300ft/lbs of torque and has a maximum operating pressure of 90psi. Will this be sufficient?

it should due the job but probably will not withstand daily use

A very popular gun in shops in this area is Ingersoll Rand

Also, pretty much every shop I've worked in runs 120psi

I had a husky for a couple years and it worked great but like the other Rex said I'm not sure about daily use. I used mine for personal only. I have since upgraded to a nice snapon gun. I have also used the Ingersoll guns at previous jobs and they are very nice and stood up to daily use very well. Just remember any tool is an investment and treat it with care and proper maintenance and they will last you a lot longer with a lot less headache

another thing to look at is the weight of the gun
Ingersoll Rand also makes a composite case gun that is very durable and light weight
Keep it oiled and it will last a long time

i just looked up my gun and it says max torque 700ft lbs. and even that thing wont take off some lug nuts, but those are usually on rusty turds, on most basic models it sould be ok, just have a breaker bar and sockets ready to loosen stuburn ones
