Identity Crisis??

I got two 12s in my hatchback civic. I had to take off the spoiler and liscense plate brakets, and add three layers or 1/8 foam tape. Still rattles... but as a winter beater, I'm not worried... cheap car and cheap gas to get from a to b.... I do miss the blazer tho when I'm not with her...

Identity crisis..... Last night I seen a 2wd ford pickup truck that had the brush guard, off road lights mounted on the brush guard, roll bar in the truck bed with more off road lights mounted up there and big rear off road tires, front tires were stock... I honestly wanted to stop him and say, "why, why, why... did you lose your mind? Ummm, maybe you don't know this, but your truck is 2wd" I believe if he had a winch mounted on it I would have lost it I know, to each their own, but come on!

Ok,, the Subaru I get,,
I own three 4x4s, a Zr2 Blazer, an 8.1 2500 crew, Jeep Wrangler and now two Subarus. ( and RIP my father in laws mint condition Fiero GT.(3k miles). So 3 full 4x4s and bought a Crosstrex for my daughter who goes to Utah State. Have to admit ( hard coming from a family of GM workers) it actually does quite well in the deep snow and all types of weather. Wife liked it so much we traded in her beloved Equinox for an Outback? Plus the Outback has a built in gun rack, the compartment between the back floor and the spare tire. Fits several rifles and pistols quite nicely.

Some of those are kinda cool. Never did understand the stereo system that was so over powered it would shake my car next to them at a stoplight. Only thought in my head was “your going to be deaf by 35” and sound like a grandpa going “what? Heh? What did you say?” Could not wait for the light to change and that car to be gone from my hearing range. I get enjoying the tunes but just maybe, maybe..it’s already that loud because your hearing is already damaged and doing that is just making it worse. Oh well, could be just me. I recall many a rock concert in my youth during the 80’s (Def Lepard-Pyromania, Aerosmith-Rock in a hard place, etc) and my ears ringing for hours after the whole thing was over. Was enjoyable at the time but I doubt was a good thing for my hearing looking back at it. Too each their own I guess, still nice observation.
