to be honest im not really suprised to see this i figured sooner or later someone would try and turn the new camaro into a donk. but in south florida stuff like this is normal. im used to seeing CARS (not trucks) driving around with 22-30 inch rims on them.

while i missed the ad (it's been pulled now), i'm glad you described what you posted about.

i'm actually kinda glad i never got to see it though. probably would've been hard to erase something like that from my memory.

IDK the blue one posted by Chiefum didn't look too bad. The rim size wasn't too big, but the design of the rims suck azz! And that purple color looks a whole heep of alot more natural then the blueish green paint before. But then agian I don't have anything agianst lifted cars and I enjoy them.

Except when they do stupid stuff like paint the rims light brown with dark brown blobs to look like chocolate chip cookies and paint the car blue and put cookie monster on the trucnk lid. (Yes a guy down the road from me does the lift kits and paint and such and he did that for a "doe boy".) He has a box Caprice with a 2 inch body and maybe a 3 inch suspension and 26's he's got for sale. Has a Tahoe on either 26's or 28's with chameleon paint he has for his daily and has a mint late 60's Impala convertible he's working on cause the guy wants 30's without cutting up the body... Like I said I like it but some cars just arn't meant for lifting, just like some trucks don't look good lifted.

I agree. I'm a fan of custom autos in general. I can respect any vehicle that is done in any style/taste/fashion. But some people do things just to get attention and not to be expressive. And that's the ones I don't like.

I even see some imports that I like. Far and few inbetween but I do from time to time. I like lifted cars and lowered fullsize trucks/suv's. I don't just like one style and trash others that contradict what I like. Like how lowered guys bash on lifted and lifted guys bash on lowered. I like it all.

The guy that runs the donk shop (might as well call it that, that's all you ever see there anymore), it's called "Big Boys Customs". Fit's him cause he's right around 6'8 or so and weighs about 320. He's a towering figure, lol. Owes me $100 on a set of 22's he sold for me so I'll stop buy and collect and see if he minds me snapping a few pics.

yeah, i'm not a fan of droppin' 28's on a BN Camaro for the Donk look, but @ least she's not going to far off the deep end.

& by "deep end", i'm talking about hugh lift on the car, or some dumb-*** "theme" car idea.

all of us were balkin' @ the $70K listing on Craigslist earlier.............well, i saw a '80/'81 Z on a used car lot yesterday, with a window sticker of $10K sitting on it-and the car looked like it's been driven through every one of those 30-odd Winters!

but it doesn't surprise me.........it was sitting beside an equally impressive SS Monte.

Yeah the one with the 4's looks real good. Big rims can look good as long as they flow with the vehicles image and body lines and the owner didn't just buy the flashiest and most eye catching rims they can get there hands on.

You should think, those rims were a nice touch. Not man I bet those rims cost as much as the car and look like a blacksmith took a bunch of metal scraps in a pile and chromed them.

And I never cared for spinners even when they were popular. I do like the floaters though. I always liked how when people drove they looked like the wheels weren't even moving. Looked cooler to me then, "spinnin' after I stop."
