When I outfitted my 05 with mud terrain tires my wife asked "whats next, a gun rack?"
I have a 14 Focus HB that I commute with
With fuel prices falling I thought I would offer the new Focus to the wife and start running the Blazer for the commute
I am out the door most mornings before the snow plows and she is usually about 15 minutes behind me but is only about 10 blocks to work
She told me NO , she likes driving the Blazer in the snow because she doesnt think she would ever get stuck

It doesnt help that I actually hate the Focus and would rather drive the 10 yr old Blazer

Had that same problem with my wife and her Ford Contour POS (rust in peace.... finally). Ended up buying her an 04 4WD 4 door. I patched that POS Contour so many times, DAMN! SO glad when it finally threw a rod. Sprinkled a little holy water on it, blessed it with the sign of the cross, and drove it through the pearly gates of the nearest junkyard.

^ haha I feel the same way about my wife's car and it's a 06' mustang gt convertible with only 60k miles and absolutely nothing wrong with it except it's useless to us as a family cause I don't fit in it!!

I've been fixing my my wife's '00 Blazer this winter. Next on the list are some new motor mounts. I told her today that I'm doing so much work on it that I should get some of the fun of driving it around. She said that I'm allowed to drive it once a month for a half hour or less because she doesn't want to be away from it for too long.

At least she likes a decent truck.

My wife just got a job, and combined with the lower gas prices, I started driving my Blazer back and forth to work. I like it much better than her Cobalt that I've been driving to save on gas.

I guess I'm lucky because even though my girlfriend's car is a POS she doesn't ever ask to drive the Blazer
