I try to never let my dad drive mine because he'll put it in reverse, then back in drive and smash the accelerator before it stops moving backwards -- CRUNCH! -- every time. Or, he'll brake way too hard way too late, or try to rip the controls out of the dash for no apparent reason... and then of course, after I have spent all day detailing it, hop in and smoke half a pack of cigarettes with the windows up.

I let my mom drive it because it was her baby so she's good to it.

Regards,

Thomas

ew thats how my step dad was he figured cause he bought me my first truck (85 gmc sierra with a knapehide body) he thought it was ok to smoke in it...after moving from canada to the US a 9 hour trip hauling a 35ft long trailer he went through a pack..i hopped in the truck and threw up*luckily the door was still open*..i never could understand him..he smoked like a chimminey..and i dont eally think he cared it could cause me issues too (lived w/him for 8 years) i'm surprised i'm as healthy as i am!

i'm the middle kid, had my license the shortest time..and had the most vehicles...4 chevy blazers (well 1 t-blazer) at one time...the MOMENT i sold each truck..its like i released it from my protection...the 3 i sold...now have body damage...its like..i'm the only one who KNOWS how to drive...and safely at that lol

Wow. Sorry to hear about that! I have asthma because of my parents smoking, but I haven't actually ever gotten sick. If I did I'd say "Okay, you're walking the rest of the way." I have a friend whose parents both smoke right in the living room and never fixed a mold problem in their basement, I don't know how he survives. When he gets in my Blazer, I get sick from the moldy smoke blend that he tends to carry around with him.

Anyway... I'll stop hijacking this thread now and say something relevant to the title!
Last night, a lil' Honda screamed by me on the highway, blowing the horn because I was only doing 5 over (With ice on the road mind you). 'bout five minutes later I see flashing blue lights on the shoulder, a cop writin' that lil' Honda a nice speeding ticked to hang on the mantle with care.

Regards,

Thomas
