WOW! it's been a month and a half since anyone has hit this thread.

well, tonight on the way home, some ***-hat definately got what he deserved.

it snowed in the GTA late this afternoon, and i was almost to my Mother-in-Law's house in Woodbridge, when this happened (sorry, no time for pic's).

i was coming North on Weston Rd., to Rutherford Rd., and the last set of lights before reaching Rutherford is easily 3/8 to 1/2 a mile away. so everyone-and i mean everyone-always cuts into the extra wide center lane (you know, that "dead lane", between the traffic lanes) to get up to the left turn lane. no problem, i was cautious-and hugging the left side of the lane to be safe-when this tool in a BN Lincoln p/u pulls out in front of me-but doesn't speed up much! not a problem, i always watch for these idiots, and am able to slow down easily. well, were about 130 feet from the intersection now (green light, but traffic going straight through), i start braking, and notice that this guy isn't slowing down very much. when i notice that his front tires are doing the ol' "slip 'n slide" on the greasy white stuff (not really that bad though) i'm going, "where'd that little black car go to?". then.....BAM!! he slides right into him going like 20 KMH-hard enough that he still moved forward about 12 to 18" after contact.

caved in the whole rear bumper/trunk lid of this guys car.

if he had of just waited a split second longer before he pulled out, he wouldn't have hit the guy.

wait a minute, that would've been me instead! guess it serves him right for cutting me off in the snow.

still, i feel bad for the guy in the car that he nailed.

Well I have a story.

I'm on my way home after dropping my girlfriend off at home. Coming up to a stop sign to hang a right and I see a guy coming up in a civic, all I hear is bass and fart can and I can see the car's packed with his friends. I sort of expected something so I stopped before the stop sign, like a good car length and sure enough he starts coming up to the corner and he floors it to turn left onto the side street I'm on. I guess dumbass didn't realize that you can't drift a FWD car like that and all he got in the fresh snow was understeer. I watched as he went straight into the snowbank and onto someone's front lawn. Blew through the snowbank and tore the front bumper off. I watched the guys get out of the car as buddy popped it into reverse and they started pushing lmao. I knew they were okay so I just shook my head as I left.

Had someone been hurt I would have done something, but honestly, you're dumb enough to do it, you're on your to get your car off that guy's lawn.

come on Pat, that would've been the perfect opportunity to get a nice vid of "how to remove a dumbass from your lawn" for the forum.

although, he wouldn't be worth the waste of fuel. even if he paid you, it'd still be a waste.

so, i hopped in the Blazer today at 1345 hrs thinking about all of the cool crap that would happen at counseling today () but i never made it....

You see, where I park at work, along a curb just inside the entrance to the parking lot, leaves no room for anyone to get behind me with out hanging out in the street. Well they all came crumbling down when I backed, hook first, into my civilian supervisor's wife's 08 Scion xB.

She was in a hurry and just tucked in behind me instead of parking in the lot... I had become complacent in my freedom to just back the hell up and go, and fialed to check my rear. That is the first accident I have been in, where I am at fault. Also, that is 2 imports I have mushed up in my Blazer now.

Nothing bad, just a 2 1/2" trear in the plastic front bumper, fractured license plate frame, and bent plate. Not even a scuff to my ride.

This is quite obviously an attempt at Urban Wheeling gone wrong.

Good thing about Scions is the parts are cheap to replace.

I would quote her as at fault for parking illegally, though could be tough considering who it is.
