Also,that issue has long been mutually settled (about 3 months ago) between Kyle an I.Don't bring it up again.[/align]

At least....that's what I'd do if I was an admin..

I mean come on...you're going to complain, then you're dumb enough (a reoccurring theme is emerging..) to say that you didnt even read the response? Maybe that's why you think problems dont get solved 'beyond a fuel pump' because you cant read the replies.

well i suppose if we could diag every problem on a forum we wouldnt need actual garages to go to would we?
try working at a garage you could see the same type of car with similar problems and both need totally different repairs

You peeps are funny. Although I do think that a person needs to do plenty of searching and reading, I also think that when a common problem is asked about over and over again, it may not necessarily be the fault of the searcher.

I read probably 30 topics, each containing over 20 replies on the subject of converting my vacuum actuator over to a locking cable system. I'm no mechanic, but I am mechanically inclined.

So, I probably didn't search for the right terms or something.

But maybe, just maybe people who knew exactly how to do the conversion just didn't explain it well enough for a guy like me.

But I will say this...after reading those 30 topics, I gathered enough basic info to do the job and I am now creating a step by step well-pictured How-to on that topic.

Here's the trick...using the right terminology so that the next guy ( who may know less than me ) can find my post.

I will say this...this IS THE BEST blazer forum out there. I have tried others and found them very frustrating.

Thanks for all the great info on this site.

And, for the next guy who asks a question about a problem, don't let your first answer be

"Try the search feature, idiot"

but how about,

"Be sure and read as many posts first. But here are some search results that I came up with using the search feature."

To be honest I have never had a problem searching. Most of the stuff that goes wrong with these cars has been covered(more than enough times). I also search both sites this one and s10 forum. You have to make sure to search only the subject line and not in the body. Also if you really have a problem with the forum and blame "US" for you not finding something that's just f*ked up. Either bring it to a mechanic, have them find the problem, or troubleshoot it yourself. Oh and most of the other problems you can't get answers for is because no one but yourself has experienced them.
