i cant really help ypu but just wondering why not electric. I had a nitro a few years back and hated it. They always have to be tuned and its a pain. Also more expensive. Just my $.02

Because if you get a Nitro you can make it run so fast you need an airplane radio to keep control. LOL.

Are you looking for a pre-built or a kit?

But seriously why not buy a kit for an electric and swap out the motor for a nitro? May need a heavier duty gearbox.

I had good luck with Associated's cars. And they make most of their models in both electric and nitro. They're RC10 nitro would make almost 90MPH outta the box with a little gear change. Though they are bit expensive.

I'm wondering the same about why not electric. The only beni you get with gas is speed, and I'd imagine when R/C crawling, too much speed will screw you up.

You could create massive amounts of torque with the right gearing on a nitro and it'll run longer than an electric. The high output rechargeables only last about 8 minutes per charge +/-.

Default hi

a nitro and it'll run longer than an electric and i really don't feel like take 20 batters for a hour and ahaf for some fun and it sounds alot batter to it just make it a little bit like a full size one and you can make more power mods on it two but the electric has more torque at the start but if i wound like to play in the mud or water i wound have to water proof it. i will have to do the same with the nitro one to put not as much, i have had a electric one like 7 to 10 years ago and i'v wall ways liked the nitro ones

makes sense about the water part. I just hated paying $20 for a gallon of nitro and constantly tuning them. I currently have the associated TC4. With only a few mods it does around 35-40mph.
