rc crawler

ok so i'v been look for a rc crawler but all i have found are electric but i wound like to have a nitro or gas one

i cant really help ypu but just wondering why not electric. I had a nitro a few years back and hated it. They always have to be tuned and its a pain. Also more expensive. Just my $.02

Because if you get a Nitro you can make it run so fast you need an airplane radio to keep control. LOL.

Are you looking for a pre-built or a kit?

But seriously why not buy a kit for an electric and swap out the motor for a nitro? May need a heavier duty gearbox.

I had good luck with Associated's cars. And they make most of their models in both electric and nitro. They're RC10 nitro would make almost 90MPH outta the box with a little gear change. Though they are bit expensive.

I'm wondering the same about why not electric. The only beni you get with gas is speed, and I'd imagine when R/C crawling, too much speed will screw you up.

You could create massive amounts of torque with the right gearing on a nitro and it'll run longer than an electric. The high output rechargeables only last about 8 minutes per charge +/-.

a nitro and it'll run longer than an electric and i really don't feel like take 20 batters for a hour and ahaf for some fun and it sounds alot batter to it just make it a little bit like a full size one and you can make more power mods on it two but the electric has more torque at the start but if i wound like to play in the mud or water i wound have to water proof it. i will have to do the same with the nitro one to put not as much, i have had a electric one like 7 to 10 years ago and i'v wall ways liked the nitro ones

makes sense about the water part. I just hated paying $20 for a gallon of nitro and constantly tuning them. I currently have the associated TC4. With only a few mods it does around 35-40mph.

i just talked to some one with both electric and a nitro he has truble keeping the electric one cool win we climing rocks and the nitro one had truble keeping fuel win he frist started crawling with it put it was a easy fix
