i would like to hear some of your stories about stupid pull overs

my favorite happened just today ha
well, i was driving my 98 blazer through town. when all of a sudden i see a cop behind me with his lights on, so instinctively, i looked down at my speedo to make sure i wasn't speeding. i was actually going 40 in a 45. so completely confused i pull off to the side.
cop comes up and asks for my information. then proceeds to tell me that my windows tint is too dark... well i don't have tint on my windows. its factory privacy glass. i told him that it was a factory option and there was no tint on windows. he then proceeds to tell me that i need to remove my factory windows and put clear windows in. well after 20 minutes of arguing about it he finally leaves to run my information. no ticket but gave me a "WARNING" to remove the "tint"

As I was leaving work I find about 5 cars waiting on a left turn only lane into a parking lot but I'm going straight and my lane was clear so I keep going when a cop jumps out from the front of the first car in line and stops me and tell to pull over, had me waiting until a bus backed out of the parking lot and the longer line of cars drove in, about 15 mins, then comes over screaming at me asking why I was passing the other cars and when I said I'm going straight and my lane was open he realized how stupid he was and just said, have a good night.

Sometime last summer i was driving down the highway on the way to work when about 300 feet down the highway I saw a state trooper on the side of the highway with his lights off. I slowed down as anyone would do, the speed limit at that point was 55 and around the next bend it is 65 cause it's the end of one highway and you're getting on to another highway. Well I'm about 200 feet from him and he pulls out with his lights going and pulls into the middle of the two lane off ramp and stops. So I stop as well as the dozen or so cars coming up behind me. He pulls off to the right a bit and puts his window down, still more of the car was in the right lane. His lights were still on at this point too. He started to throw lit flares out of his window. About three or four flares every five feet or so. So I did what anyone would do at that point, I stayed in the left lane and went around the flares. I had to get to work, I was already late due to this cop. As soon as I went around the flares and past the trooper, he pulled out and got right up behind me and pulled me over. I stopped, put my window down, he pulled up next to me and proceeded to ask me "Where the f*** are you going?" I said "To work", he didn't like me answering him back so he said "Didn't you see my f***ing lights on, don't you know you are never supposed to pass a cop with his lights on?" and he's yelling at me through his window....as cars are passing by him and heading on their way. What the f? I said "no I wasn't aware of that, I was going around the flares you were dropping out of your window like everyone else is doing" he then told me to get out of there and so I put my window up and left. there was no reason for him to be dropping those flares, no accident, no backup, no animal in the road, nothing. He just pulled off to the side of the highway and sat there as I drove away. I was stumped lol.

OH I got one.... My dad got pulled over with the tractor trailer a few months ago... We were moving a wide load SO i was behind him with the s10 pickup escorting the load..

Any ways he gets pulled over and so do I. He wanted to see our LIC and permits... WE were 100 % legit.. Long story short this guy was a rookie. HE asked my dad why his LIC said AM .

My dad has Class A for tractor trailers down and M for motorcycle. MY dad turns around and said I can only drive in the AM officer. Once it hits noon I park the truck and leave. LOL that guy was so angry I thought we were getting locked up... ANY ways HE nailed us with 10 tickets on the tractor trailer for stupid ****.

Like Blown lights , cracked glass on the tractor , Dirty Lic Plates and so on. They all got squished cause the truck was legit and fixed within 24 hours.

 

Got pulled over for speeding years back. Cop asks "do you know why I pulled you over?", I say "nope, but I bet you are going to tell me" and I smile... He says "even better, ill go write it down for you"... I thought his sass was funny.

Not a driving one, but many years back I worked at a nightclub. 2 cops came to respond to a stabbing in the parking lot, and there was lots of people around. The cops are a younger one, and an older experienced one... Two girls about 17 start calling them pig, and dirty cops, and all kinds of names. The old cop walks towards them while putting on his glove, the girls keep mouthing off, and he backhands both their faces with the same swing, and they go flying off their feet TKO'd... He then asks if anyone else has an issue and nobody says a thing, you could hear a pin drop.

 

I got stopped about a year ago for being white in a black neighborhood. Cop was black too. He stopped me for "going through a parking lot" which apparently is illegal here.

He started getting pissed when I asked him if the land owner complained; did any shop owners complain; was anyone hurt; did anyone come near getting hurt?

When he told me what I did, I said "there's a guy dealing crack back at the gas station, but that's okay isn't it." He didn't answer. The crack dealer was okay, because he's black, you know.

Then he asked me for my license and I told him "I don't have one, I don't believe in them." and handed him my passport which shows I am not a U.S. citizen but an American National. As I rescinded my citizenship several years ago due to the tyranny going on with his bosses, the government.

Then he asked "do you have any drugs in the car?" My reply was "ah here we go, the interrogation starts, huh. Guilty until proven innocent, am I? No I do not use your products so the answer is NO." "What's that supposed to mean." "Oh come on, you know your bosses ship the drugs in to the U.S."

After that, he went back to check my info and came back with a ticket. He says this is a ticket for driving without a license. SO I pull out my copy of the Texas Transportation Code and ask him where it says I need a license to travel. He wouldn't answer so I pointed out where a "driver's License" is defined.

I said "now I know there are some big words and your reading level is Dick and Jane but call your flunkie you've had staring at me the whole time so both of you can get an education. Now here it says 'A driver's license is defined as a TEMPORARY PERMIT - now that's the thing you get before you get your actual slave card - AND - now that's an important word there, and - AN OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE - I know, that's a big word for you bit what is an occupation? Right, a job. Engaging in commerce. Now, is this private automobile say anywhere that it is a taxi or a shuttle bus? No, it is a private automobile, therefore legal and lawful to travel in."

Well, he's not absorbing the info so he tells me "I need your signature on this ticket you do not have to sign it." "and what happens if I don't sign your fraudulent piece of paper?" "You will be arrested." "So I don't have to sign it but you'll arrest me if I don't?" "That's right." "Alright, I will sign it, but I am going to add that I am signing it UNDER DURESS." "What?"

I didn't answer him and he ripped the paper off his little book and threw it at me.

I got the ticket dismissed any way. He was a total dumbass since I am in the computer and it says "do not ticket for no license." I didn't call him in to the racial profiling line which is what he was doing, thinking I was a white guy over there buying drugs when I was dropping off my wife's kid to his white friend's house of whom neither of which do drugs.

 

Well I've only been pulled over twice. Both times for window tint. So really it is completely my fault and it's the risk you run when you put on illegal window tint, but both times the cops lied to me. First one told me that he could ticket me for "enlarged exhaust", which in no shape or form is a law. The only law for exhausts is that you can't make the muffler a larger size than factory. I have a factory sized (CSA certified) flowmaster muffler with a large tip. The tip doesn't change a damn thing.

Second time was a couple weekends ago I got pulled over by a school peace officer. Kind of irritating when you go to school to get work done on a saturday and have to sit though that BS. The guy pulled a crazy u-turn when I drove past him going into the school parking lot. Tad drastic just to pull over a guy with window tint (not even the only one in the parking lot with it).

He lied and said he couldn't even see my tail lights when braking because they're so tinted.



Now that's just not true. That picture doesn't even do them justice either. The first cop (real cop) that pulled me over didn't even mention them so clearly they're bright enough to see.

Took the tint off now though. Peace officer said they'd impound it if I went to school with the tint on it again. Again a little overkill for tint. Peace officer has to flex his non-existent muscle.
