Honestly, I think if I ever had the money to buy one I would. Just to say I have one

As amazing of a car as it is... I'm not that big of a fan, I find it looks like a shoe with 4 wheels. The SS doesn't do anything more for me either.

Classic exotic? Lime green Lamborghini Miura SV

Haha. The one reason I used to get in fights on msn. lol It "sounds" mean eh. I consider it a V not a W cuz its only one driveshaft.

Cool

I had one thing in mind when I read this but decided not to post it.. since then, I changed my mind. Screw all you guys with your Bugatti's and German crap. Quality aint the issue. Expensive aint the issue. Rare aint the issue

DIFFERENT is the issue!

So.. I would find a poorly restored 56 / 57 Nomad. Take the body off the frame and store the frame engine etc.
Would send the body to shop to have it totally restored stock and painted black. So shiny you could see hair growing out your ears at ten paces!

then build a new frame/chassis/powertrain using the exact setup in this car:

Supercharged Lincoln mark VIII LSC at GLD - YouTube

And I'd put a big-*** Blue Oval right in the center of that Nomad's engine bay.

Then I'd drive it around to all these weekend cruise-ins so as to **** off all the purists!

What brought that on?

This thread,
Another Easy Rod - TCCoA Forums

plus some of you...

And any dumass with no imagination could jack up a Nomad and run a 2002 Vette underneath it
Like I say about those squawking about 'ruining a good car' on the thunderkitty site:
Get a grip.. I like the BelAirAro too. And I have right to .. I owned both!

...
I say take your 'shame on you' attitude and shove it. I'm 68 been there done a lot of it and I'm allowed
So there!

Added: The guys on TCCOA think this desecrates both the Camaro and BelAir..

I disagee with both those premises, too.
Guess I'm just a contrary old fart!

And tell me anyone of you wouldnt enjoy borrowing that LSC/Nomad and pulling up next to a fully decked and turbo'd ricer on a dark deserted street.
heh

Wow... bet you are hellzapoppin' in your fantasy football league. What do you do..... cut and paste the entire Patriots roster?

j/k but... BORING! {and I'm a Ford guy!}

Why not just settle for one of a kind, like...
The SN65

Prolly the most famous -and best- Mustang restomod ever
and you can actually buy it

Occurred to me you guys must think I'm pretty weird.. well there's several other guys on The TCCOA who also have/like Blazers and the probable favorite GM car of TBird AND Mustang {I KNOW Mustangers love and respect 'em from my old days on their lists} fans is the Buick Grand National.. go figger!

Here's an example: http://forums.tccoa.com/vbpicgallery.php?do=big&p=2132
