I'm the head chef... My girl CAN NOT cook. She messed up "just add water" pancakes, last night. She'll cook, but I have to supervise.

my wife usually does supper because she is home first
If she works late I will make it happen

Her friends tell her how lucky she is because I am happy with something as simple as KD & hotdogs or burgers
The funny parts is I usually do more of a sit down dinner when I cook
Tonight Kim worked late so I made schnitzel, green beens and fetucini alfreado
Last night she made burgers, frozen at that

She makes most meals, I make the good meals. She just throws stuff together fast as possible and with the least effort and buys cheap cuts... I buy good cuts and spend time making great food. I'm the better cook, she's more frequent. The kids like my cooking better.

It's all fast food for me, much cheaper to eat at work (I get a 50% discount at Carls Jr.) But every other week I'm usually on the 'No money for food until payday' diet.

I hate to cook! I microwave leftovers and do the barbeque and that is all I care to do.

Luckily my girlfriend likes to cook and she is an excellent cook but she is also a workaholic with two jobs (when she does not have too) so she really just cooks on weekends and I live on leftovers. I am not complaining she will learn to slow down and relax some day.
