Default belltech keys review

Anybody running Belltech drop keys on a 98+ 4X4 Blazer?
If so; how long have they been installed and have you had to replace anything else or encountered any issues?

Also how about just backing out the bolts? pros and cons? longevity of this setup?

here is how I priced it out in my head

Belltech keys $129-$140
Allignment $100-$150

or

Back out the bolts $0
Allignment $100-$150 (cost of belltech keys)

The only con to loosening the t-bar bolt's is having a loose front suspension. As far as I know, the keys allow you to essentially re-index your bars to keep the tension on the suspension and still get some drop. From reading a lot of thread's to me it seems like you would be better served saving your money from the key's and just loosening your bolts. Plus you can't go much lower then 3 or 4in in the front before you run into problems with the 4wd.

I got the ebay keys, like 40 shipped so half the price. Still running strong I did have to shave the torsion bar cuz it was to tight to get on one.

The drop keys allows for more drop then just turning the bolts. If your gain is only an inch or so the factory parts work fine. You want more than 2 inches you have to have the drop keys. If you want 3 1/2 or more then you gonna have to convert the truck to 2wd by taking the front axles apart, running the outter stub in the spindle, and ditching everything else 4x4 related.
