s10 Blazer rear springs?
Hello I just bought a 1989 s10 blazer 2 wheel drive. I plan on lowering it 5/5, so I took a peek underneath the vehicle and noticed it has leaf springs plus shocks with a spring around it. Do all of these vehicles have rear shocks/springs? I was under the impression they just had leaf springs in the back.
My question is, how would I go about lowering the back with these springs and shocks in place? Can I just throw the blocks on there or do I need to do something different? Thanks.

No they are not adjustable. So you say its aftermarket? If I go ahead and buy these blocks for the rear, should I just remove the shock/springs all together? I'm assuming I would need to, I would think they would get in the way of lowering...
those shocks with springs on them are just for better load handling. ul need to remove them in order to lower ur truck, but i would recommend getting sum smaller shocks to replace those cause itl ride real ****ty if u dont. just leaf springs will be way bouncy. u can find lowered truck shocks all over the net for cheap too. check ebay or ur local parts store.
