SOrta humerous
Hello, picked up a 96 S10 blazer 2dr, 4wd 4.3 auto. This is my first Blazer in fact this is my first non car. I am allowed to have 3 cars here so I have my IROC, Odyssey, and usually a cheap bimmer that I fix up and drive for a while until something else comes along. This worked well, but this time a guy offered me this blazer for $400 bucks so I bought it needs some work, but it did drive kind of ( I have a thread in the general tech if you're interested to know how it is now). I now know why I usually stuck with bmw's...parts, parts are so much easier to come by over here, not so much with this truck. I'm hoping to get it running again soon before I decide to part it up...

Thanks everybody! I picked up a used set of 31's and a brush gaurd for 80 bucks, and I also found a set of 2wd blazer wheels at my yard. I'm hoping the wheels wont stick out too far, and once I get the new fuel pump I can start "pimpin it" again. I miss driving it, I love driving the IROC, but the weather is starting to change here and I'm gonna need my winter beater up and running.

thats kinda interesting.... a few years ago too i was looking down south for a rust free s10 blazer to bring up and drive. if i search craigslist you can usually find 100 listings for just today and yesterday of s10s for sale. if i searched like a popular city down south i would see maybe 5-6

Cheap Blazers
Southern michigan loaded with cheap blazers.Beleive it or not they arent rusted out either and most have perfect and very clean bodies. The trend around here is the engines will go bad cause of rod knock and the people either dont want to replace the engine and would rather part them out instead. This situation boggles me cause alot of these vehicles are very nice but the people would rather destroy a perfect Jimmy rather than fix them.

I wouldn't destroy one though, like many did with the cash for cars deal. I'd at least fix and sell or I guess part.
MN is loaded with S10s too.
