Default 1973 Blazer dome light wiring

I just started a rebuild on a 1973 Blazer with my 14 year old. This is my first build. Trying to understand how the dome lights in the removable top get connected to the wiring harness. thanks for the help!!

There should be a little cover inside the top on one side (right?). It should be all the way to the rear, down at the bottom. I think you need to unscrew it and there's a connector in there. It's been a really long time since I had one, though, so I'm going by memory.

I've done some fiberglass repairs, but I'm not that great at it, lol. Probably best to check out some videos on YouTube.
