Hey guys just signed up to learn a few things about my jimmy I recently got. It's a 1990 GMC Jimmy with 36" Irok, 350 automatic tranny, lockers front and rear on the 10 bolt chevy axles, CM axle shafts front and rear.

Whats with that 'dusty' paint job on the rockers & a lil above? Just because it looks like that more often than not?! ... Sweet!
<edit> shouldn't it have 10 bolt in front & 12 in the rear?! They look like 6 bolt rims.

LOL good man to admit a fubar. He never said lugs, just diffs & they'd have (I think a 10 upfront & 12 in the rear) but I may be wrong as well.

Yeah both are 10 bolt, they should hold up fine for what I'm going to use the Jimmy for.
As far as "jeepjunky" I've always owned a jeep, since I was about 15 I'm 35 now. I'm just not clever enough to come up with a new board name. Lol.
