Recently bought my 2000 chevy blazer and the battery didn?t hold a charge. So I bought a new one and whenever I honk the horn the right blinkers doesn?t turn on but would show up on the dash, then when I did turn the blinkers on the battery gauge would tick with it. I did a fuse test and it seemed like the blinkers were pulling power so I pulled the fuse controlling them both and the battery still died? Not sure the issue

 

That sounds like it might be a challenging problem. Since it involves multiple steering column problems, it likely involves the multifunction switch harness. This harness carries signals for the turn signal, 4 way blinkers, wipers, cruise control, and the horn. This harness runs from the steering column to a block connection under the lower left side of the dash.

The connections in the multifunction switch can wear out like any other switch. It's not super difficult to replace it, if you have experience with working on your vehicle.

 

I'd like to second this.

The only thing I could think to add is that perhaps the wiring harness to or near the steering column was damaged.
