Question Does anyone have more info?

I am working on my fathers blazer and found what appears to be keyless entry module. Does anyone have any information about these? I am pretty sure it is only keyless entry, but it woulld be nice to find an original fob for it and be able to use it. Never seen one with GM branding on it like this before.

Looks like it might be a dealer installed keyless entry and/or alarm module. You did not specify your vehicle information, but I would guess that you are working on either a 1st gen s-series or an early 2nd gen. You could try putting the FCC ID into Google and see what turns up. I can't tell if it is GOH-052-RMTPL or G)R-052-RMTPL. That number will identify the type of transmitter that is required as far as replacement keyfobs go. Now programming...I don't know what to tell you there. Maybe there is a button on that module in your pictures somewhere...?
