first blazer
hey everyone i picked up my first blazer a few months ago its a 77 k5 2wd. ive built everything from lifted trucks to bagged minis to crawlers im really just a diehard car guy i can see the beauty and mechanics in it all. so anyway build plans are to bag it and do a super clean street truck. so far 4link rear is done and bagged all 4 corners. lined up is a 1963 350sbc 4bolt mains camel hump heads and th350 into the 4.10 12bolt rear 4link (should handle beautiful) well heres some pix so far let me know what you think

Looks like It's coming along pretty well and could be an interesting project. I haven't seen many bagged K5's.

welcome to the show, from Canada
definately don't see many 2WD K5's around. looks like it's gonna be a sweet ride. any driveline pic's of your set up? you should start a build thread on this beast. i know alot of members would follow it along.
only thing i'd do different.....is get rid of that old 3 speed. IMO, should've went with a 700R4. especially with 4.10's. much nicer for cruising.

Ya the over drive would be nice but I have been sitting on a rebuilt th350 for about 2 years lol but another weird thing on top of a 2wd k5 is it looks to me like it was a 4speed (hole in tunnel and small brake pedal) how many 4speed 2wds could have been out there? Seems like a fun combo lol to bad my sm465 is to low geared for a street cruiser.
