Default first time offroader

Well i finally got the chance to take my 4 door 4wd LT Chevrolet Blazer offroad and well, i was a bit disappointed, i was stuck before a 4wd ford ranger with bald tires and even a 2wd ford f150, so i have made it my goal to make my blazer a bit more offroad capable and that led me to this site If anyone has any simple reasons as to why my blazer was getting stuck so much please give me some help, as i cant figure out why it was doing so horrible

yep, i had it in 4wd all the time, it wouldnt go anywhere in 2wd, but i noticed that sometimes when its in 4wd only one wheel is spinning, could something be wrong? or it that just a result of the type of 4wd it has?

those tires look like they were meant for gravel roads at most(no offense)

i would check to make sure your 4wd is actually engaging (make sure at least 1 tire in the front and 1 in the back spins), easiest way to do this is 'flex' it out until 2 tires have barely any weight on them.

it wasn't any major offroading, basically no mud at all, just some wet dirt paths and a few creeks, along with some damp fields that i was unable to go through, and i'll try that out tomorrow, but if it doesn't work what could it be? and since this is the introduce yourself section i'm gonna make a new thread here: https://blazerforum.com/forum/genera...46/#post461250

Few things to comment on:

- Goodyear RT/S really aren't that great of a tire.. All my buddies that have had them tell me they are terrible for most anything. I've hear them nicknamed Wrangler Right-To / **** (I guess they wear out quickly too? idk) I bought Wrangler Silent Armors (which get me through anything).
- The 1-wheel spinning is because you have an open differential so only 1 wheel engages
- Already asked, but what part of NY are you from?
