I have a 2001 blazer 4dr 4wd with a 4.3 vortek v6 my problem is i can't get the darn thing to take fuel. i stand at the gas pump for 20 minutes putting fuel in this thing. It will take about 80 cents worth of gas before i have to wait for about 15 seconds to put another 80 cents worth in. any suggestions? also have lost my heat don't know if it has anything to do with it but it started at about the same time.

 

heat could be vacuum leak. as for th fuel must have a clogged tube to the tank.only way to find out is to check it out.

 

Is it taking a long time to drain into the tank? Or is it just auto-shutting off at the pump end?

 

It is either a restriction in the fill tube to the tank or in the vent tube to the filler neck. Either would produce similar problems. Sounds more like a restriction in the fill tube to the tank (the larger one).
