Halfalive here, new to this forum
Hello to yall! Halfalive here!
Got this handle one morning after the night before. cant shake it so I gotta just go with it!
My brother in law generously gave me his 1996 red Chevy Blazer which has a new motor (v6 not sure exactly what size) due to the fact that my work truck (not a chevy so it will remain anonymous ) was having a number of major issues and was keeping me from functioning properly as the production manager of a small construction company here in northern California. Leo ( my wifes oldest brother) purchased this blazer brand new and babied it forever. The interior is like new, it has loads of power, a towing package and it was hes main "family wagon" raising his 2 kids.... many trips to Tahoe for years of skiing trips ect. I am blessed.
Receiving a 24 year old work horse does not come without its own set of issues, including over heating problems, hvac issues, wipers not wiping, tailgate operation failure , headlight headache ( I could go on). My boss was less than thrilled as his #1 employee was driving an SUV rather than a full on Pick Up Truck. Yes the luggage rack is not a reasonable facsimile for a lumber rack. But it got me through and now its a extra vehicle in my family and we are struggling through some problems any 26 year old (360k + miles) vehicle would have, but its worth the effort and thats why Im here.... hopefully to tap into a wealth of knowledge and experience from yall!
