yeah, i definitely get to see both sides of it...i'm doing full-time ems and volunteer fire up here, i'm glad to get both perspectives, helps to understand things when you look at something and say 'why the hell are they doing that?'....before i started with fire i just thought u guys liked big red shiny things to compensate...haha, but the work is pretty killer sometimes.......especially when it's -45C and your gloves freeze to your nozzle, and you have to defrost inside the truck before you can bend your arms

Bad *** truck. What are some of your plans?

Sweet looking Jimmy! I like the body colored fender flares it with a clear coat. At least thats how the pic looks, I always see the flat black looking flares!

Im very jealous. Were there any 4 door high riders?

I know what you're thinking, no you won't be able to swipe body-color flares off a 4 door High Rider.

well as for plans i've been shopping for a grille guard/push bar already (haha, before i've even picked up the truck)...unfortunately being in a remote area tends to kill me for shipping, and being in canada is a double whammy because of the taxes/duty bringing stuff across the border.....but here's a tentative list:
grille guard/push bar - either westin or warn trans4mer (i can get both locally, probly warn for easier winch install)
lift - PA 2" body lift to start with, then maybe AAL and some shackles
my biggest plan is to debadge/desticker the entire truck, with the exception of the front 'gmc' emblem...then the windows will be blacked out (hopefully 5% or 25% - haven't checked local laws yet), smoked out taillights, and try to find a blacked out grilled.....
i want this to be a 'knight rider' style truck (with no association to the actual show, cuz they just ruined it with a ford p.o.s.)....completely blacked out, with a set of 33" bfg mudterrain's on american racings 767's (a nice black on black of course!!)
anyone got comments on that debadged blacked out look? think it will work, think it will look horrible?....i'd like to get some feedback if possible

It will look alot cleaner and better blacked out with no side or rear badges I only have my doors left to debadge and with the rear done it looks so much nicer!! I would go for it and do it all the way!!

plenty of new pics!! i took these on the drive home....it's a much nicer truck than i was expecting! it's a 'GFX Limited Edition' from what the badging and decals say...also the 'GFX' (short of the ontario based "Ground Effects" customizing company) logos are stiched into all the headrests...they've also done the dash and door panels in carbon fibre, very nice!!
