Hello and welcome O-H! fellow Buckeye here. From Springfield.
I was wondering about rims and tires also and was searching around but cant find much. I have the stock 235/15 now and have 265/75 or 285/75r16 in my garage I wanna switch out with. I am going to get me tbars cranked a little too but do I need a lift?

Welcome from Alberta.
Most likely you will not be able to fit 31x10's without lifting your truck or trimming the fenders. I ran 31's on my Blazer for quite a while with 1.5" t-bar lift and a 2" body lift without trimming the fenders. On stock rims I did rub the frame when turning at full lock. I did also run 31's with just a t-bar lift for a while but I rubbed the rear of the front fender regularly when turning and hitting a bump. That's why I did the body lift.
On stock height most people recommend a 30x9.5 tire, and I also suggest a 255/70/15. I had those on my Blazer when I bought it. I liked them better than the 30x9.5 because they're wider. I like meaty tires.
