New member as of tonight. I'm 43 and run a warehouse for a roofing supply company. I've owned my '76 K5 since 2005. I am the second owner. This has been the most reliable rig ever. (my 3rd Blazer). In 2002 she received a Goodwrench crate motor, B&M trans, rblt axles,t-cas, and new drivelines. I recently replaced all the steering components. I only put the best stuff on it and do very regular upkeep. I love my truck, just hate the mileage. Thinking about a lift and maybe some engine upgrades soon. (if I keep it). The rust is growing and that's not a good thing. (more work than I want to deal with) but she's my daily driver and I love it. We are here in beautiful Oregon, and with hunting and fishing she gets plenty of time off road. And we both smile (yes the truck smiles ((I think)))...Whenever we get to pull a Dodge or Ford out of a bad spot...lol.
