Hi from Croatia
Compared to the other cars i had, the handling of blazer is awful and so is mpg (around 13,7mpg and i was trying to be easy on the gas
) but i still love it! The space, the comfort...
.............Also i would like to put in xenon HID kit because the original head lights are pretty poor. Also dont know how it will work because i dont have lenses in head lights :/
Thats about it for now.
Anyways, great forum you got here and i know i will be learning a lot from you guys!

like rriddle3 said already, that's not a good comparison. but seriously, you really don't think it's good handling vehicle? for what they are, these trucks handle great, IMO (and i've had quite a few of these trucks).
look in the Member Group and Special Buys section for the thread by HIDextra.com. they're a forum sponsor, and have various deals on HID conversion kits. numerous members have installed their kits, & posted their opinion on them for us.
this statement,
makes me scratch my head............are you missing your headlights, or are you just not sure what is replaced in a HID conversion?
be sure to post up some pic's of your truck when you can.
Great to have you Chop!!! You just gotta love it!!! A guy from Croatia driving around in an old Blazer, that's awesome!!! That would make a great Chevy commercial. If only more people would here in the US could understand and respect such a great truck!!! Glad to have you Chop!!
I dont have any pictures of it yet but i could certainly take some.
Its a stock LT 4x4 version.
@old skool luvr
The handling would much improve with bigger rims and not so large tire size i guess. I got stock 235/70/15. 17 or 18 inch rims would make a lot of difference i suppose, i drive it in the city mostly.
About the headlights, i guess my translation was wrong. Lenses is direct translation from Croatian but i guess more correct term would be projectors? With no projectors the light beam will be scattered everywhere and it might bother other cars.

)you can do a cheaper upgrade than buying 17's or 18's, you could just buy a "LT" tire.
as in a LT235/75/R15 instead of your current P235/75/R15.
the LT tires have a more stiffer sidewall (more plys), thus giving you better handling characteristics.
while the stock 15" wheels are no comparison to a set of 17's or 18's (even my factory tear drops-by far the nicest of the bunch), if handling is what you're after, then this would be the cheapest way (unless you know someone looking to unload a set of 17's/18's that fit your truck.
the headlights;
the HID kits sold on here (and i'm sure everywhere else?) are a direct fit, and don't require anything else to function properly. take a look at this member's install for those HID lights kits i mentioned above.
Thank you all for the warm welcome once again!
TomSawyer, your comment really put a smile on my face. thanks man.
Old Skul luvr,
Thats a great info. To be honest, i didnt know about LT tires and the thought of tires with thicker sidewalls never crossed my mind
17" wheels will have to wait anyway because with the amount of money i spend on rebuilding the automatic transmission(around 3000 dollars, i know its expensive but its the price we get here) i dont have much to spare.
Thanks for the HIDs link. Ill be ordering them asap
