congrats on the job brother. as for the front end, like i said, it has more to do with the line than the year, although you are correct that '89 was the first year for the ugly one piece HL.........come to think of it, i can't recall ever seeing a '90 or '91 with that front end in it (doesn't mean they didn't).
good luck with your shake down and inspection of it. post some pic's of her when you bring it home.

yea i was just lookin on ebay and i seen a 90 with the same body style. you dont like that look? i love the 2 headlights seperated next to eachother lol thats just me, yea hopefully there nothing serious wrong with it but idk when well get it, my dads an excavator and hes really hurting right now so hes not sure if hell be able to spend the money to get it, but i am paying him back from working, but idk ill figure it out, because the thing is rust free, and my frame is gonna break on my truck in about a month or 2

deos the k5 have the 5.7l 350 in it? or is it a 305? and if it is the 350 its the efi with a throttle body right

there's no difference in the body style, it's just the grill/HL's.

it can have either engine, you need to check the 8th digit. the engine doesn't dictate if an engine will have fuel injection, it's the year of production, so either engine will be TBI. "K" is for the 350, "M" is for the 305.

is this the style that you were refering to? 'cause this is what is on my 'Burb, it looks more classy. the other one looks like it should be on a work truck (IMO)

yea i like the classy look just like what you said, well my truck has the throttle body so im guessing a 90 would have it cuz i really dont like carbs haha
