My grandson,just bought a 98 Blazer,from his sister,170,000.
So far hes put $600.00 into it,and still has to fix,the gas gage, abs light stays on,be careful, have a mechanic check it out first, its worth it.

It's a do-it-yourself maintenance kind of ride. I love mine to death, but it always seems there's something new to fix. It'll cost quite a bit if you don't fix most of it yourself (parts are cheap, labor is not). I've put about 10,000 miles on mine since May. At 164k about. The 4.3 vortec is a solid motor.
Do take Whitesox1933's advice and get it looked at first if you can. Got some major mechanical issues (transmission torque converter, new brakes/rotors, belt tensioner, etc) fixed on mine before I got it.
