Default needing some help

I just bought a 96 2x4 blazer. i already love it even though it is 100% stock. im new to the whole smaller suv and was looking for some help with a suspension lift. yes i know its a 2x4 but i am taller and want something a littler bigger. what parts i will need? also looking for a smoother ride with it. any thoughts and ideas would help.
