First day on here. Had a 1989 s10 blazer. Loved it, kick myself for selling it. Just bought 2004 blazer. Work as a welder, and about to retire. I love this truck? Wondering if I should get a limited slip rear end.. i thought it was but just found out it is not.

That's the axle ratio, G80 is the code for the locking rear end. I think there's a few options for lockers and LSDs for our axles out there

G80 is the rpo for the locking rear diff. Should be able to straight swap rears, as long as the ratio matches the front, if it's 4wd

If you don't want to swap out the entire axle, it's a relatively easy job to switch out your open carrier for a limited-slip one, as long as you have decent mechanical skill and a couple of somewhat specialized tools.
